Title: Rifle Gongs
Post by: JGreen on June 17, 2013, 02:07:36 PM: Anybody making or selling Rifle gongs? If so I sure would like to know where I can get a couple or better yet where I can get the AR500 rated steel to make gongs myself.
Also would like to know what is or would be allowable at kokohead and any rules that would apply to them. Thanks Aloha.

from what i recall, there are some guys on ebay that sell with free shipping to HI
50 yds rifle side .22lr only
100 yards rifle side any ammo ok

dunno, can always try! actually gonna use them while shooting on private property but, i may take down to kokohead to see if they'll let me shoot at it.

And 100yrds for bigger stuff. Aren't those gongs out there on the rifle range already? Lol
I also had inquired when I was at the shooting fair the past weekend when I was trying out the
300 black out on the rifle range to get a feel for the latest craze in rifle caliber. And as always your best bet
It's go ask the range officer at koko head to confirm or reconfirm that its ok. Aloha
