So is any of these .22 in pic your favorite? And have you shot all of these before?
-
I've been shooting alot of cci velocitor..my action stays cleaner.

10/22 - CCI mini-mags are by far my favorite for reliability and accuracy.
Savage bolt - I can run whatever. Can't tell on accuracy as I'm not that accurate. I'll have to have my 12 yr old daughter do a test cause she kicks my ass. :wtf:

I have a 10/22 takedown and a sr22 pistol, I only shoot the CCI minimags, including the Choot Em bulk pack. Functions flawlessly every time.
I stopped using anything without copper coating, can't stand cleaning out lead.
The Blazers always cycled but dirty and too much lead buildup.
The instructions say to stay away from the hyper velocity stuff so I can't comment on those.

Mini-mags are my favorite. My first .22lr was a Remington 597, which really didn't like the cheap bulk packs, as much as it did slightly hotter loads. I definitely saw an improvement shooting mini-mags.
Nowadays I hardly ever shoot that Remington, and almost exclusively shoot my mp-15-22. Its reliable with any ammo I put in it. Since I do most of my rimfire shooting on the steel side now too, I don't fret on buying the slightly more expensive stuff, and just stick to whatever bulk packs are cheap.

Any under $35 a brick.......

CCI mini mags for my M&P 15-22. guaranteed relaible shooting
my 10/22 will eat anything
-
I like Mini-Mags but they're in short supply. Remington standard velocity is what I'm using now--good stuff, as accurate and reliable as MMs.
-
The cheapest one available.

No votes for the cci sub sonics? That's the ones I like to shoot from my savage bolt rifle It supposed to be more accurate then regular velocities Hasn't anybody tried the cci stingers? If not you need to just for the fun of it the velocity is like the .17 hmr super high and its under $35 bucks......... for like 50 of them more like $13
-
Never tried sub-sonics. Guess I'll need to :shaka:

2 cents - This video Aguila SHV beat CCI Stinger.
What is the most effective .22 LR round? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpIm1otEG1E#ws)

22 suck.....
dont know why i have so many
LOL

I jus bought a M&P 15-22 to mess around with, I was wondering what brand of ammo is good to use. Perfect timing on this post, thanks guys :shaka:

Winchester 555 (not pictured) in my 10/22 breakdown, because it was always cheap and works just fine... super dirty though.

honestly my 15 22 shoots everything with out problems and is pretty accurate to boot but... its my least accurate of all my deuce deuce pew pews just because of the bolt action moves more then the others still one of my faves though.

CCI mini-mags are my favorite and Federal Game-Shok copper plates. The CCI Blazer bulk pack is good as well, but the Federal Champion blue box bulk pack did not run well in my M&P 22 pistol. Lots of feeding and extracting problems. Ended up giving the last 200 rounds from the box away.

My daughter loves the CCI sub-sonics in her Savage Rascal.

Anyone tried da white box by Federal Ammunition, Auto Match

Good stuff, my 10/22 liked it more than federal champion. I like 555 for my mark ii, recently got a bunch of Viper (solid nose version of yellow jacket) and it's good but by far the dirtiest 22 ammo I have ever used.

My daughter ran about 30 rounds of this ammo in my 10/22 and there was about 8 rounds that got jammed (stove pipe). I was a little disappointed. Never had trouble with the Winchester bulk pack.

Interesting, I was running this through my buddies new 10/22 a few weeks back and it ran fine.
His rifle is completely oem.

CCI Minimags and Rem high-velocity seem to work well, but I would take CCI anyday.

Well here's my take on the lead heads and cleaning it when i use them. I will fire about 15 rounds of the copper stuff at the end to remove the lead from the lead rounds might be my imagination but it seems to work for me. But i do want some of those aguila anybody ever see those anywhere?
