do you send in the complete slide?
do we have to take out the pieces that are in/attached to the slide?
Just got off the phone with Mary at CCR.
Per Mary, current turnaround time (from the date slides are received) is 2-3 weeks.
Also received confirmation from Mary that if five slides are sent for CP II refinishing, at one time, the lesser of the five slides will be free.
Mary also stated that turnaround time for refinishing of five slides is unchanged (2-3 weeks from date that slides are received).
If anyone is interested please let me know by tomorrow.
Regardless of whether anyone else is interested, I intend to send the slides out on July 1, 2013.

mahalo, new guy
i am tempted, but i have a bunch of other projects/expenses on the plate
great of you to offer, i hope it works out for you
Just asked Mary those questions, bruddah macsak.
Per Mary, just remove the slide from the frame, then remove the barrel from the slide.
Upon receipt, CCR will mark the location of sights, remove said sights, refinish slide, then reinstall sights before mailing the refinished slides back to Owner.

ive read in a few places that the newer np3+ coating is pretty much the best available, but i wonder how much better it is than cpII? its over twice the price. if its not a huge difference id rather have 2 slides coated then 1 since none of them see duty or extreme use. has anyone come across third party testing? i was thinking of getting some blued pistols and small rifle parts done.

Spectacular!
I might still go the Lone Wolf route (but they be in backorder...)
