Just wondering what are the favorite long range (200+ yards) hunting bullet everyone is using. I am now trying out the new Ted Nugent ammo, .308, 165 gr. Barnes Tipped Triple Shock X.
Attached photo is from a boar I shot at 225 yards using Federal Premium .308, 150 gr. Barnes Triple Shock X. One shot with bullet lodged in the oposite shoulder. So far I shot two boars with this ammo with my "Modern Sporting Rifle" (new term I guess for AR hunting) first being a head shot at 110 yards.
Mahalo! :shaka:
