Title: Need a .22 pistol, better to buy or convert?

I'm looking to get a handgun that is inexepensive to shoot, therefore am looking for a .22.  What I don't know though, is it better to get a .22 pistol or revolver, or pick up one the advantage arms .22 conversions..

I found a site that sells the conversion for a glock 22, for about 275 + shipping.. but that seems like for not much more I could purchase a new .22 pistol.
