i say manslaughter
tough for the jury to go 2nd degree murder, but they are not going to let him off for self-defense
and there will be rioting whatever the verdict is
-
This is such a political train wreck it makes me sick. And to think the Obama
Administration had their paws in it is the icing in the cake.
-
Tough to say, but I think he does not get declared guilty. Might be a hung jury.
-
I'm predicting walk. Following someone does not equate to manslaughter if he had a reasonable fear for his life and safety. Following someone is not inciting violence or starting a fight.
100% no on the murder;
slight chance for the manslaughter, but after what I have heard, I would be letting him go.
-
>:D
-
I'm predicting walk, because everyone wants to see these damn riots that they keep crying about.
LETS GO ZIMMERMAN!
Just don't bring skittles to a gun fight!
-
Hmmm... I don't watch propaganda designed to stir fear, anger and divide the public against one another. Though I have no prediction on the verdict, I do predict the story has had its desired effect on the general public. If anyone would like more stealth based propaganda pabulum, perhaps some old issues of Völkischer Beobachter might interest you - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%B6lkischer_Beobachter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%B6lkischer_Beobachter) . - Enjoy.
-
I suspect he walks... Verdict is known but delayed due to the weekend to give the Racists a chance to cool down. Any Monday morning rioting will be met with fully armed resistance by shop keepers..
-
Should be not guilty, he will get manslaughter.
-
Manslaughter caries virtually the same penalty... In any event; the racebaters and Liberal News media have done such a great job demonizing the guy it might as well be a death sentence.
-
I don't think there's no way they can convict him. Not enough evidence. But I think he gets manslaughter because if he walks there's going to be hell to pay the way the media has been covering this thing.
-
>:D
-
He will be found not guilty of all charges, then sue someone and win.
-
I agree with Funtimes. NOT GUILTY.
-
That white bastard will get what...er, wait, he's not white? Damn, then I don't know. I do know that somehow it WILL be Bush's fault!
-

I could see that, sue all the networks for defamation.

I was thinking innocent, or hung jury. Now I am thinking there is a good chance of guilty due to the new options of manslaughter and such. But in also feel that hung jury if even more possible.
-
He'll walk if the jury gives a single damn about the actual law and the evidence. The prosecution introduced more reasonable doubt than the defense did! In closing arguments, O'Mara held four minutes of silence to show the jury exactly how long Trayvon had between the time he ran and when the confrontation started. If he wanted to get away, he'd have been home. Instead he doubled back and attacked Zimmerman. The prosecution's rebuttal? "Trayvon didn't have four minutes to plan his attack. He had four minutes left on this earth." (Technically true that he did have four minutes left on this earth after he ran, but still does nothing to answer the question of how he chose to spend them.)
I'm concerned that the jury is tainted, or that they'll cave in to emotional crap about a beloved son (whose mother kicked him out of her house) being taken "too soon", especially when they feel like they can "compromise" and still convict him on something because "it's just not right" that an innocent baby-faced child is dead and Zimmerman walks. Remember, the jury isn't told and I don't think they're even allowed to ask about sentencing, so it's entirely possible that they'll convict on Manslaughter thinking it's going to be a couple of years in prison, only to find out on the evening news that he was sentenced to 30.

I don't know how they can't be "told" - we know hes facing 30 years on manslaughter. Life on the Murder 2

Either way its a sad day for CCW

Riots either way. Watch. Either fkg way.

This won't change anything imo. The people who are, for the most part, voting against us - are against us here already. No sides have changed.

I think the people are full of it. Does it sound like someone would want to go riot in Florida? Smash up some "cracka's" house? That sounds like a good way to get to be introduced to firearms.
-
If the jurors have half a brain amongst themselves, he should walk Scot free.
-

They may or may not know that, but the legal eagles on tv (for whatever those bastardos are worth) were saying that the jury is not allowed to consider sentencing or ask about it when reaching a verdict. One guy was a federal prosecutor and said that they'd always charge the crime and aiding and abetting. Often the jury would acquit on the actual crime and convict on the aiding and abetting...which is good if you're a federal prosecutor, because apparently aiding and abetting carries the same penalty as whatever crime was aided and abetted.

Lol, I saw someone made a meme of the "Bad Time" ski instructor from South Park. "If you think you're going to teach crackers a lesson by rioting in the South...you're gonna have a bad time." Which is probably true. Then again, it's possible. There were riots in Miami when the Heat WON, so imagine the pandemonium if Z is acquitted!

Let's get it on! Nothing on news yet. Chicago, LA, Atlanta, NY? hrmm.

He will be found not guilty of all charges, then sue someone and win.
I think he is suing NBC for editing the 911 call. And he SHOULD win.
-
Yessir! ^^ I don't know how these guys can sleep at night.

Oakland on the news. And so it begins.
L.A. too
Morning news will be interdasting to say the least.
G'night all

Yep!

Yep!
You... I like you.

I couldnt really say. All things point to not guilty. But with the liberals messing with the justice system i just could not make the call.

acquitted of all charges..any riots?

Little bit in Oakland and LA. I guess the Black Panthers decided that getting out into whitey's neighborhood was too much trouble. "Screw it, let's just burn down Oakland...again."

Wondering how much he's going to sue for.

Wondering how much he's going to sue for.
Which side? Martin is unlikely to sue, as SYG would most likely rein right after a not guilty self-defense verdict. Also, if they do, all of trayvon martin's twitter, profile, school background, previous incidents would all get drug out. There are different rules for that.
I'm looking forward to the civil claims zimmerman brings, it's going to be a doosie.
-
Heard on the radio T. Martin's family settled with the home owner's association where Zimmerman lived for $2M.
-
Heard from Perry and Price that zimmerman is 3/4 Hispanic and 1/4 Black, no white in him. Also the Skittles and Drink that Treyvon had was laced with drugs. Plus he had marijuana in his system. Damn MSM got the story so damn twisted.

Yeah he's a big mofo. They said he was athletic and liked to play sports I believe. The police even said that there was no way Zimmerman would have hung with him going toe to toe.
-
I dont get it why are the blacks keep picking on the whites? They keep ignoring the fact that Zimmerman is NOT WHITE?
I'm interested how his dad got the name Zimmerman and hes Pereuvian (Hispanic)
I cant stand how the MSM has played this out. Obama and Holder too. To me they are trying to start a race riot? Why?
To limit the population? as all socialist do so they can control everyone?
-
His father is white, his mother is from Peru.
-
has "black roots through an Afro-Peruvian great-grandfather - the father of the maternal grandmother who helped raise him."
-
I guess I was wrong, they got it right.
Unfortunately now comes the civil suit where all the vultures take advantage of the family of the deceased and the person who has been found not guilty.
-

Plenty of lawyers would be willing to represent the family of Martin.............trouble is there is no money for them to make off of Zimmerman, unless they write a book about the case. The Martin family would sue, I think, out of a sense that is the only way they would get "justice."
Who is Zimmerman going to sue? The State? I dunno man. I think if I was Zimmerman, I'd drop any further lawsuit unless the DOJ started to come back against me (which given Holder's record thus far seems extremely possible)...........but sue for what?

Perry and Price this morning was saying that GZ dad was actually Latino

The protestors against GZ are in a mob mentality, like a witch hunt. The hatred is so ingrained in them that they don't look at facts or reason. All they want is blood. I think the only way to calm everyone down is if the President went on TV and flat out said this was not about race and TM was a punk. I'm not holding my breath on it.
If the roles were reversed, GZ was black and TM was hispanic, it would've just been a short news article stuffed in the back of the newspaper and forgotten. Surprised the hispanic community isn't making a big showing to support GZ.

That's not really true, I don't think. Who will they sue? What will they get out of him? What's in it for the attorney? The home owner association settled (from what I have heard). You don't file suit against dead beat defendants. Zimmerman won't have a job, has no money, has little to no property - what would you get out of it?

Dude read my post. I'm saying just about the only thing they could do is write a book to make $$$.

He makes me sick still treating this trial like it a major loss to the usa and claiming it as Gun Violence?
This was about the right to defend yourself against a creepy ass hoodie.

Everytime I hear the jurors or protestors speak about zimmerman and how he should've stayed in the car, or not pursue, or not worth shooting someone for getting beat up. I get this feeling they're also the ones that watch and do nothing. Like when there is a car accident and people are hurt, they just stand there and watch. Or someone is getting raped in front of them, they just stand there and watch cause they don't want to get involved. One thing that I like about GZ is he volunteered and tried to make his neighborhood a better place and did something about it. Anyone else get that feeling too?

On his tip #1 on pepper spray - don't think it would have worked in GZ situation. When he shot TM, GZ was lying on the ground getting beaten. At that time pepper spray would not have been effective to use, ie TM would probably keep beating GZ even if sprayed (since he was straddling GZ) or both of them would've gotten hit with the spray.
What would have been more effective is if he drew his gun before the fight started, to serve as a warning for TM to stay back. This would have been a good deterrent by itself. Unfortunately what most likely happened is GZ got sucker punched and didn't have time to react.

So it was him 35 years ago.

The right decision was made, but it looks like the race pimps like Obama, Sharpton, and Jackson will continue to stoke the fires. I'm especially sickened by this lying filth we have soiling the White House. Obama is absolutely shameless when it comes to race hustling/pandering. I've said it once and I'll say it again: every one of you that voted for him and voted to reelect him should be ashamed of yourselves.

There you go again, hurting the FEELINGS of those poor 2A members that, for whatever moonbat reasons, actually voted for the POS.
The site owner says we should accept the fact that they did, because, somewhere, some democrat actually supports the 2A. I. for one. fail to see any connection.
Or, as one Obunga voter here said, there are other things more important to them than the 2A. Evidently, race pimping is one of them.
The mind boggles, but then that is why there is such a divisive POS in office.

I think this case has pushed race relations back about 10 years. Just waiting for the riots anyday now.

I watched Bill Whittle. What a kangaroo court. Yet.........he was found not guilty. Hold on boys. Here comes the gun grabbers. This has pushed back race relations well over 10 years. Dang !!!

Here is a report on Trayvon’s track record at the high school from the Miami Herald:
The Miami Gardens teen who has become a national symbol of racial injustice was suspended three times, and had a spotty school record that his family’s attorneys say is irrelevant to the facts that led up to his being gunned down on Feb. 26.
In October, a school police investigator said he saw Trayvon on the school surveillance camera in an unauthorized area “hiding and being suspicious.” Then he said he saw Trayvon mark up a door with “W.T.F” — an acronym for “what the f—.” The officer said he found Trayvon the next day and went through his book bag in search of the graffiti marker.
Instead the officer reported he found women’s jewelry and a screwdriver that he described as a “burglary tool,” according to a Miami-Dade Schools Police report obtained by The Miami Herald. Word of the incident came as the family’s lawyer acknowledged that the boy was suspended in February for getting caught with an empty bag with traces of marijuana, which he called “irrelevant” and an attempt to demonize a victim.
Trayvon’s backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described silver wedding bands and earrings with diamonds. Trayvon was asked if the jewelry belonged to his family or a girlfriend. “Martin replied it’s not mine. A friend gave it to me,” he responded, according to the report. Trayvon declined to name the friend.

Only if the sheeple of America believe the Sharptons and Jacksons who are pushing their agendas to turn the trial (and the subsequent verdict) into a racially-motivated issue.
At the risk of sounding naive and idealistic, I think strong leaders in the Black community should work to empower others through their words and actions.
The rhetoric from the mouths of the Sharptons and Jacksons does nothing but further contribute to the feelings of disempowerment and entitlement.
