FYI this ranking list is very interesting. Hawaii needs to improve.

And you were right!

At first I was surprised Washington (my home state) was 40, then as I read the descriptions of other states I realized why. Very interesting article, thanks for sharing.

I'm planning to retire to Washington State next year. It may be number 40, but it seems like a firearm paradise compared to Hawaii.

Thanks for the article! Definitely a nice, quick view on all of the states. Will definitely help in future plans to move ;D

Very true. I applied for my concealed carry permit last time I visited (end of June) should be in the mail any day now.

I would imagine that Colorado used to be high on the last but since the recent legislation, not so much. :shaka:

Alaska is beautiful and would be a pretty neat place to visit. That's quite a high percentage of gun owners, gues wild life dictates that. :D
Growing up I used to be proud and feel very fortunate growing up in Hawaii. I still feel fortunate to have grown up here with the weather, surf and climate, but I'm not very proud anymore.
Drivers for one here are the worst out of any state. Absolute crap. Left lane is the passing lane!!!!!!! :wtf:
The drivers, political climate, and gun culture are definite negatives in my book.

hmm Nevada looks ok, right in Tahoe area...as long as I can go back an fourth i'll be ok!

Look on the bright side, at least we aint in bullet button land...
While hawaiis guns laws are imperfect, I was pleased when I moved from cali to discover that I could feed my minis from full cap mags and drop my 14 into a pistol grip stock with a telescoping buttstock, and install flash hiders on both.
Hawaii's laws are pretty restrictive, sure... but calis are senslessly stupid.
I do miss my grandfathered (in cali) full cap P89 mags... sigh... traded them for ten rounders when I brought my pistol into HI

Yup, I don't understand how their representatives are still in office. Hell I don't know why they aren't tried and sentenced for treason!
