Take a look at this. I am not sure how it affects us, because we got quite a bit of the fallout floating over here, and many of us HI residents visit Japan.

seen this type of stuff in onions, garlic and peppers all the time, not this bad since the stores obviously would not sell it like this. Never seen it in a tomatoe though. Hopefully someone can find some more info on it.
