Newbie here so sorry if this is a silly question, but can I shoot pigs on my land (ola'a - big island) wo/a hunting license? I'm signed up for the hunter ed class in September but I was wondering about before then. If I can, do all the rules n restrictions apply as when hunting on state land? Like handgun vs rifle; seasonal restrictions on animal types; etc?
Thanks!

Replied to your post in the "general discussion" section! Yes! You need a hunters license regardless whether its private or public lands!
