General Discussion / Re: Renewing CCW
« on: October 09, 2024, 09:54:25 AM »
Rocky had a combined training, "$200 + $50 Range fee" but class currently not scheduled.

Class available at other Gun Stores.

90 days prior to your LTC expiring, you can re-apply (considered a new application, $150 cash), not sure how many firearms can be included on each application.
The Officer mentioned if you if you renew, (think he said 30 days?), there is a related reduced cost.  Sorry don't remember the days and cost $.

The application form has information fields for two firearms.  If you want to add more beyond those two you just grab an extra copy of that individual sheet and add more firearms info.  Unfortunately, you'll have to fill out ALL of the other duplicitous info on that page.  Not sure what the maximum number of firearms on a single LTC is.

So G17s, or Glocks in general, going to be prohibited because of the G18?

From the the bill:
Assault pistol means [a]
(1) A semiautomatic pistol that accepts a detachable
magazine and has one or more of the following
characteristics:

(F) It is a semiautomatic version of an automatic
firearm;

Definitions per HRS 134-1:
"Pistol" or "revolver" means any firearm of any shape with a barrel less than sixteen inches in length and capable of discharging loaded ammunition or any noxious gas.

Health, Fitness, and First Aid / Re: FSA/HSA to pay for trauma kits
« on: July 01, 2020, 11:59:46 PM »
I’ve used my FSA for quite a few trauma and first aid kits/items.  Amazon usually has them marked as eligible for FSA/HSA.  I believe the CAREs Act of 2020 also opened up FSAs to a lot more over-the-counter items.
