That's correct - during your application appointment, they'll make the pickup appointment (14 days later) for you before you leave.

Team - I won't be able to make my Permit to Acquire (3 guns or less) appointment for Wednesday, 6 May at 0950. If you would like it, please message me.
No guarantees that an online swap-over will work, but we can try to synch up my online cancellation with your online registration.
