Works. Its sole purpose is to only hold mag/pistol. But it can hold either POM or the protac light with the mag in that section.
The bando is nice, but looks too bulky.

Had to order another Streamlight ProTac. Had this one for about 5 years. Prior to this, I lost 1 in Vegas around the video poker area at the airport. I had the light on me then, but when I sat in my seat on the plane, I didn't have it. I dind't sit down elsehwere either but went straight from the video poker to the gate to board.
This time, I think it fell out of my pocket when riding a bicycle to work. Good thing the replacement on Amazon is $35. IIRC, I paid $40-50 for the prior 2 from SEC. Imagine if I had a $100 light.
Same reason why my folding knife is $60. If I spent $300 on 1, I wouldn't want to use it to cut card board or open a can of paint. Range knife is even cheaper.
Oahu is an island (honolulu county), not a state. This matters because ur ccw permit is only valid in the county u got it in and not valid state wide.
So u can only carry on the public sidewalk. Everywhere else requires permission. This is sb1230 specific, and not going into places to keep law.
So if I wanted to carry at a friends house. I would have to ask permission?

43x harder to shoot b/c of the trigger? How many rounds with each?
If both hold the same 10rds, go with what u shoot better.
