General Discussion / Re: PSA no longer shipping to Hawaii
« on: May 18, 2026, 02:12:50 PM »
Well that sucks. Last year I was attempting to purchase some 10rd. MKIV mags at a good price.  Couldn’t get the buy completed.  Contacted Josiah at the arfcom PSA industry forum.  He told me they were drop shipped and the vendor wouldn’t ship them here even though they were legal.  :shake:

So I actually just placed an order a few days ago and it went through.  Got few 10rd AK mags and and a Romeo8T for super good prices.  It didn't ship yet but I got my fingers crossed

Thank you for writing this and sharing your experience, it was a good read.

I really want to take a shotgun class.  They are fun to shoot and difficult to master.  I get out the dummies at night sometimes when the kids are sleeping and the wife is working so I can practice my loading.  I just wish it wasn't so damn loud to pump the action and eject the shells to do it again

General Discussion / PSA no longer shipping to Hawaii
« on: April 14, 2026, 10:22:30 PM »
I had a big cart full of items last night and when I went to checkout a message popped up saying "due to rising shipping costs we are no longer shipping to Hawaii" blah blah blah "must send to freight forwarder".

What a pain in the ass. Shipping gets charged to me anyway, what do they care about rising costs? I already sent a letter to customer service and I got a lame automated response of their new Hawaii shipping policies.

Since customer service didnt help im gonna try their social media pages to get a human.  I'm hoping some of you guys can join bugging them to so they reverse this new policy. (Not sure how long it's been in effect I havent ordered in a while).

Now im all sick im missing out on $2 AK mags ☹

I make the long trek to kokohead to fight boredom and maintain some degree of marksmanship skill. I also don't have grandchildren to babysit here....yet.

No worries unko I got 3 little ones you can borrow, then I can finally go to the range - win/win

It's about time they cracked down on the cartels.  However Mexico can't do it alone since the cartels are so widespread and integrated into the government.  It's going to take US troops make the cartel wipeout permanent.

Youd be suprised what some fed up citizens and 2A rights could accomplish.  The cartels already have guns, it would be really smart to arm the masses in my opinion.

The dummies running this is clowns they introduced SB3039
If we are going to carry our firearm we also have to carry a taser at all times...
orange bands and now tasers

That post about the orange bands was from the CnC Honolulu satire page on facebook - that wasnt real but this taser thing sure is.
The funniest part about that satire page is that everybody believes it because our state/C&C already doing retarded stuff so it's always believable

Businesses wont let this happen, they wont risk losing customers for leaning one way or the other.

The one I'm worried about is the stupid bill that would require CCW holders to also carry a taser.  At that point im going battle belt daily cuz how tf am I supposed to conceal a pistol AND a taser lol

Clearly a bad shoot. One agent grabs the guys gun out of waistband and the other agent freaks out and pulls firearm. They shoot him after he is disarmed.

However if he was at home drinking coffee instead of impeding federal officers he’d still be alive. This is on the retarded media for lying about what ICE agents are actually doing. I still support ICE but this is bad.

Honestly you cant put the ICE at fault, would any one of you try to interfere with any sort of armed law enforement?  Also, he was resisting and once you have 5 cops in a scuffle hear "he has a gun!" it's game over.

General Discussion / Hunting on Oahu
« on: January 15, 2026, 02:26:57 AM »
Just finished my Hunter Ed course and when I was looking at the hunting maps I was actually suprised how many areas we cant hunt with rifles and shotguns on Oahu.  I feel so trapped and over regulated on this Island and It's honestly a fresh breath of air to see that we can use our guns for more than plinking at Kokohead.  I'm going to redeem my slice of freedom and start hunting to get the most outta my 2a rights.  I was really suprised to see hunting with firearms allowed in back of Aina Hana and Pearl City.  A little curious how this works - do firearms need to be in a case until in the hunting area or can I leave that crap in the car to avoid hiking in excess weight?  I always see hunters with bows and dogs but my pitbull is too fat and I dont have a bow. I DO have a brand new badass .308 bolt action and a dollar-store pump action that I would love to shoot some shit with.. Meat for the table and learning survival skills will just be a bonus.

Anyways, if any of you rifle hunt on Oahu I just wanna hear a little from you and  any tips advice you may have

I got a feeling the SBR laws might go away on the federal level but Hawaii will never get rid of their restrictions on SBRs.  Hoping we get suppressors in the near future i think we have a chance since they protect hearing
