With that said, what does the injunction mean for us Hawaii CCW holders as of right now?

Can we CC into private businesses now regardless of the signage in the windows, knowing that there's a federal level injunction until June 2026 on the matter?

I believe Hawaii CCW holders have the right to know what we can and cannot do as of right now.

Could be totally wrong, but even currently, if a business has a sign, you are not allowed to carry.  Would be the same if SCOTUS ruled in our favor. The only business that I have come across is Whole Foods.

But like I said, I could be wrong.

Today marks 3 month wait time on my add-on.
Yes - You will need to qualify with each gun you want to add on (unless someplace will just sign off - not common practice)
Yes - You will need to do paperwork each time you add on (1 or more at a time)
Yes - The full waiting time applies.

I actually thought the add-on might go faster, especially because I did an add-on essentially at the time I picked up my initial license, but like I said, sitting on 3 months as of today.

At least I can still carry now, but weight will be definitely decreased when I get my add-on.

Got my letter today which was dated on the 27th, exactly 3 months in.

I knew it would just come when it did.  Guess a trip to HPD soon.

Anyone added a gun to there ccw license?  Is it too much of a hassle?  Do you have to take the range test for the new handgun and then do the paper work and forms and wait 4 months for a new ccw card? Thanks in advance.

Don't know if anyone know (or cares), but wondering the routing process for the application.  I called asking about an "add-on" question, and the officer / helpful individual looked up my app and said it was routed up for the Chiefs signature.  I guess even after the Detectives / Investigator does their thing, they have had applications kicked back because something was missing.  I joked with him asking who was gonna sign after the chief retires, or I hope he gets to his stack before he leaves.

I was hunkered down for the 120 day period, but curious the average time after it goes up and is signed and sent out.

Wondering:  the disqualifying category that the “individual is lacking the character or emotional temperament…. “  would that or would that not be a disqualifying category for even a permit to acquire??

Yes,but not mags.

And ur rifle can never leave the state and return.

And if ur rifle length is less than 30 inches, so a bulpup like a tavor is, its classified as an assault rifle.

So all currently owned mags will need to be blocked?

Question:  if this does (but hopefully not) pass, are currently owned firearm’s grandfathered?
