Gotta get the Dog on board for ccw. He could really use it.
Aside from being not able to own a gun I don't think he's for it.  I was watching one of his episode, they went to this apartment complex and the crowd were acting up like they want to fight them, he turns to the camera and he said,"This is the reason why I don't carry guns."  Why don't  just tell that he can't carry guns.

Defend Hawaii,

If you're focusing on gun deaths don't you know that deaths involving vehicle  are a lot higher, so is drowning and skydiving.  How many pedestrians have been hit and run in Hawaii?  I don't see any legislation banning cars.  Or people driving drunk and killing somebody, did they ban alcohol? Deaths involving baseball bats and knives, did they ban them?  My point is you can't blame it on inanimate object.  You can ban all kinds of stuff you want, but unless the heart of man doesn't change people will still kill people and that's been happening since Cain murdered Abel and he didn't even use a gun.

You're right that they are ccw holders who committed crime, that's why it's very important to know how to deescalate.   They are cops and service members  that are dirty too, but that doesn't mean they are all bad. They're always going to be a bad apple, no matter what.  And what is this attitude about mainlanders and local people?  For me, there's only good and bad.  'Cause wherever you go there's only two kinds of people, good and bad.  Look at England and Australia, self defense is non-existent.  You claim that you support 2A rights, do you really?

I used to like Rambo until I found out what Sly stands for when it comes to 2A rights.  Collateral with Tom Cruise and Jamie fox and Miami Vice, the remake actually any movie that's directed by Michael Mann which involves guns.  He directed Heat too, I just like the way he makes you feel like you're there, uses live fire 'cause he wants to be real as possible.  None of those cg's and unlimited ammos.  And most of all, there's always a 1911 in every movie.

Even if CCW is granted in HAWAII not everyone will carry..   CRIME DOES HAPPEN BRO
Nobody is forcing you or anybody to CCW, if that's what you want that's your choice.  All we want is to respect our rights and fulfill what public officials haven taken oath for, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.  The last time I checked, Hawaii is still the 50th state.  Crime does happen, exactly that's what we meant and you'll never know when.  Better to have a gun and not need it than needing it and not have it.  Don't you know that LEO's are not required by law to be there when you need them? There was a lawsuit regarding this matter.   Google it.

The states can regulate and legislate anything not denied to it by the state constitution or the federal constitution
Should we start regulating all the other rights under the bill of rights?  The bill of rights belongs to the individual not the state.  That's why it's called the bill of rights.

KEEP HAWAII HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, what do you exactly mean by that, we'll just settle for being subjects?  Don't you want liberty?  Do you even know what liberty means?  Didn't you look at the latest census results that majority of population gains are those places who respect people's liberty such as the 2A, lower taxes or no income taxes at all.  You keep saying that, Hawaii we'll never prosper only the few will.

The right to bear arms is your PRIVLEDGE not your damn rights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wrong, wrong, wrong!!  It is a God given right and the constitution is only there to affirm it.  Self-defense is a God-given right, if God gives animals the right to defend their offspring and their territory how much for you being a creation above all this creatures, wouldn't be afforded such right.  Read, research and learn brah there's this thing we called internet.  Turn off your TV and stop watching MSM, learn how to think and not what to think. Ok brah?

You should put a shark or a honu instead of the eagle or maybe shark/honu eagle combination.

I've just seen the election results and it's just getting worse for Hawaii.  I'm glad I moved here in the mainland.  Pls. don't get me wrong that I have given up on hawaii, though one of the reasons are the draconian gun laws there.  I already knew then the majority that will win are the same old traditional politicians.  Look at the bright side though at least the right has a majority in the house I hope that they'll effect a change, and not all rhetoric.  Ah, democracy - the god that failed, a mob rule by majority.

First of all, I commend you making the website.   In regards to the links and news I would say concentrate more on local stuff, that pertains to where we are on 2a issues, what are the hurdles we're going through, setbacks, and victories we had.  I. e.  links from local media(videos, articles, news).  It would help too if you explain the concept of self-defense that it's a God given right and the constitution is only there to re-assure it.  And being armed is one of the ways to defend yourself,  your love ones and life.  Remember, your audience are the people who need/want  to understand the concept of self defense and to dispel myths(more guns, more crime).   Provide facts, like England and Australia in which when they enact gun bans and the opposite happened .  Or how the swiss are the only european country who wasn't invaded during world war 2 due to the fact that all they're citizens are armed and still true today.

How   about instituting a usage fee?  I'd be happy to pay $5 for a visit if it   meant restored hours and better-maintained facilities.
I totally agree.  Better to do it this way than losing it all at once.  However, the money they'll collect should only strictly be use on the range and not for other facilities.  Sad, this is what happens when the govt. keep on spending and politicians think that the problem is taxation.  Govt. is broke they just don't want to admit it.
