I don't see anything in 703-304 that says a person has to retreat from their home or move to another room in the house.

I am not an attorney but just looked up the definition of dwelling and it says it  is the structure of the house. Now try to google curtilage that is not dwelling.

Please!  The Oath of Enlistment and/or Office is NOT supposed to encapsulate the "if - then - else" decision process contained in the UCMJ.  It's an oath that you make to uphold the responsibilities of your position.

The UCMJ and Code of Conduct are there to guide you in your day-to-day decisions.  The difference between a legal order, and illegal order, and the appropriate actions to take are complicated and will never be covered in any oath.

If you want to try and say "I never swore an oath to do <fill in the blank>", remember the oath is very general.  The "fine print" of what you promised is contained in the other documents.  Part of the commissioning programs is to teach candidates what is in those documents BEFORE they raise their right hand.

The oath is different from the commissioning document.

I'll comment more when I watch the video. Else-wise I really don't care.

That was the initial commission. Promotions was a single piece of paper which nullifies the previous rank. If you have that other promotion paperwork post it up. If you will blindly follow that's you brother not me.

Ahhh found it.  Just pulled it out from the storage closet and read it. Which to me isn't the oath of office and less credible since I don't see my signature on it but did see this on it. in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.   The constitution is the law of the land to me.

Also, thank you for your service colt.

Colt808 what oath of office did you take?  Not wanting to attack you but curious since the Navy officer oath does not have anything saying that. I have seen the guard does add that tho. There is a difference from the officer and enlisted oath of office. Which I took seriously since I saw both sides and the reasoning behind the officer oath of office. https://citizensagainstproobamamediabias.wordpress.com/2009/03/07/enlisted-vs-commissioned-military-oath-of-office/
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Uniformed_Services_Oath_of_Office don't like the guard one. From the army themselves http://www.history.army.mil/html/faq/oaths.html. Now I don't remember my commissioning paperwork but I thought it had the same thing. If need be I will pull it out.

I assume if you can bring your own they'd allow that since all bullets are made out of lead with a copper jacket or are you talking cast lead?  If you had to shoot frangible that sucks. Cost and extra wear on the guns.

This in my bag https://www.narescue.com/portal.aspx?CN=4C6BB1CFB632 all the time and an adventure medical kit guide I think in my wife's car since she carries the kids.

Howzit op. I was stationed in Cali and I called the state firearms unit in 2002. Back then they told me I could bring my at as well as any hi cap mags since I am not a Cali resident and don't plan to be. But you need to bring your orders to the sheriff or Le agency along with rifle and pay $75 for the permit. But this was in 2002 so best to call. Also need to check base regs as they may be ultra strict. Personally owned firearms in the base armory etc.

I'd love to have a student sue the professor and school for infringement of first amendment rights.  Some dumb shits. It's too bad Washington state has so much crazies now. It was a good place.

I did my AR via the rattle can method procured from any hardware store.  Colors flat black, green, brown, tan.  Start by plugging and masking important areas, keep a magazine in degrease and spray away.  If you want a mantle piece do the cerakote, durakote, chemakote, whateverkote.  The rattlecan comes off with use which needs to be touched up from time to time.

I hate the incessant calls from the NRA asking for more and more money. If you don't answer, they call back every day until you do. When I started getting calls at 7am on weekends, I had enough. I explained my membership fees was all I could do and not to call me. They didn't listen and continued to call.

I disagree that it's all about membership numbers. If that was true, they would spend their efforts getting new members, not trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of existing members. It comes down to total money raised, not membership numbers.

I got one call from them and then when they finished their schpell I told them that ah no matter how much they try to raise money nothing will change.  That the only real change will come when push goes to far and then a revolution is upon us.  He asks if I want a revolution and I say no I want peace and to not be bothered by stupidity but when push comes to shove I will be ready.  Haven't gotten a call since and love it.  Hahha

I am a NRA member though hate the constant mailings and until then the calls.

Teichi is correct.  Just bring your rifle to HPD saying you are doing an out of state registration and you register and do the paperwork and take it home the same time you bring it in.  For medical put the clinic where your medical records are kept.
