This is getting so ridiculous. They are pushing so hard to not only demonize marijuana, but gvns and marijuana at the same time.

Instead of being an example of how the police can't always save the day, this is going to be another example of why having gvns is pointless.

That's so true because the husband couldn't have killed her with ANYTHING but a gun...

Has anyone noticed that the converting of the Lunalilo freeway from 3 lanes to 4 has made traffic on the freeway worse than it was before? Now people are afraid to drive at a reasonable speed because the lanes are too narrow. But I think if you can't drive just 50MPH, stay off the freeway!! And another thing, tailgating and rubbernecking should be capital crimes punishable by death!!

Same.....although you still have to figure out mil-spec or commercial.

My affidavit is notarized. It has been accepted from '96 until just today.

Is your old affidavit notarized? I had my old one rejected because it was not notarized.

General Discussion / Safety Class No Good Now

Just a heads up for anybody with an older safety course affidavit. I went to HPD today to apply for a handgun permit and was turned away by the officers at the window.  I took my safety course in '96 when the law required 3 hours of class and 3 hours of range.  They told me that my affidavit was no longer acceptable because the law was changed to 4 and 2. I then tried to explain to them that since the law was changed I have acquired 3 handguns with no issues at all. To this they simply said, "That shouldn't have been approved." Just wanted to let you all know what happened.

Seems to me that it takes more physical effort than just racking the slide with the opposite hand.

I would be very interested in either a carbine class or a handgun class.

I don't remember who said it, but I remember hearing that you should never go where the government tells you to go to.
