I believe the panic started already.
I think low hanging fruit would be to ban imports...I just started to focus my buying specifically on imported items like imported AK47s and i am paying premium prices because i think it will be banned one day. You snooze you lose and i snoozed
Supply and demand determines the current prices of these items so the inflated cost is what it is at the moment. I seen many cycles of this and prepared myself because i know what it is like to spend 60 bucks on a ar15 preban steel mag or 100 dollars for a 10/22 25 rounder. Thats not happening to me again.
I don't see the difference in purchasing these firearms or ammo vs a stock or an asset. I made the sacrifice to buy an asset vs spend it on something that loses value. I definitely dont hate on someone selling something for a higher price because it increased in value or demand. Next time play the game.
Could I wait for this to blow over and repurchase things in 2 to 3 years? Yes, but some low hanging fruit might not be available. I think ammo will eventually go down, but never to its previous lows.
