Political Discussion / Re: "cooter mogging"
« on: August 09, 2026, 04:03:07 PM »
Cooter mogging" is not a standard or widely recognized term on Urban Dictionary. It appears to be a humorous or nonsensical mashup of the slang word "mogging" (outshining or dominating someone in physical appearance) and "cooter" (a vulgar slang term for genitalia or an old-fashioned southernism for a turtle).

Aka....desperately seeking attention

A few years ago, some of my relatives moved to Seattle.
It surprised me when one of the first things they did was to obtain ccw permits.

Reloading / Re: Bullseye 1955 Powder
« on: July 25, 2026, 03:03:16 PM »
Here is another vintage can of Bullseye powder.
I don't think it's as old as the previous can, but it is unopened and in excellent condition. I'm going to offer it for sale as a collector item, but I'm pretty sure the powder is fine for loading too.

Got any suggestions for cupcake loads in 44 special?   Really light loads feel like 38 special if possible, lol.
Have Lee .429 button nose, wadcutter  210 grain mold.  Made some with powder coat sized to .431.   Then couldn't find load data.
==========
I never used powder coat.
I size my 44's to 0.430
I would interpolate data from a heavier lead bullet and use tiny amounts of fast burning powder.

I've been buying pineapple sausage from Costco.  I take it for potluck parties because it's unusual.  Everyone likes it. I like it. My Dawgs like it.

Crackheads can keep fighting after taking fatal hits.
ISIS fighters used an amphetamine-type drug for that purpose.
Moro warriors used drugs to keep fighting after being shot by 38 revolvers. This prompted the switch to the 45acp.

Notes...
This load hovers around IPSC Major PF, depending on what class you're shooting. YMMV.
I used a Garmin chronograph.
Accuracy was great, but I didn't bench it. I'm almost pau using this batch anyway and will be loading a mass-produced bullet next.

Use up your old components and practice!!
Oh BTW walmart is selling the acetone-based brake cleaner for about $4. That is really excellent for cleaning your finished ammunition.

My daughter is a chef in Europe. She calls me almost every week. I told her about this spam and she said she saw it there and wanted to try to make something with it.

I'm not a fan of Rick, but I do like his non-politician PR type replies to things.  They're direct to the point.  I mean he could have stated instead "it is what it is".

I had lunch today with some moderately leftist people. I got a chance to examine the new license. Even they wondered what the fuss was all about. I suspect the controversy was just bs to get Facebook clicks....which generates money for the people who start the controversy.
