Firearms and Accessories / Re: Used optics?

I’m a true believer that your optic should run more than the rifle especially if your trying to reach out and hit something. Yet if your only at Koko head then carry on something from Walmart should do just fine 😂

I switched from 175 smk bthp to 168 Hornady amax . The smk where just zipping thru being that it’s more of a “target” shooting  type of bullet . The Amax stops them cold .

You gotta experience the Molokai way of living . That’s the only way to understand why they fight so hard trying to protect it . They have been thru tough time economically but somehow still thrive . They turn nothing into something. Just because Oahu,Maui , Kauai and now recently lanai all sold out does not mean that Molokai should .
That Comment made by SUKA was like a slap in the face . Let them “rot “ why would you threaten my family , my Island with such a comment ? I’ll pray for you SUKA that you never go to that beautiful island with that attitude because you’ll miss all the beauty that’s still there . The beauty that those locals fought so hard to keep for not only theirs but future generations.

P.s there was no way that ship could dock I was there at the pier . The hokulea and 2 other ships where tied up . He could of landed his heli and been fine lol . His boat is 350’ long hahaha that’s longer than the harbor it’s self 😂

On the contrary, there is little economic opportunities there, hence a large part of the population are on govt. help. They have no hospital like Queens nor do they have a robust supply chain so they rely on a periodic barge to bring them their goods. Econ 101. It's a global economy and if they want to be left behind that's fine but the way they went about it is dated. China and Japan had closed door policies but they realized that kind of policy stifled growth. Chase away billionaires that had no intention to disturb their Molokai lifestyle was ignorant. He just wanted a place to dock. He wasn't there for an invasion of any sort.
Molokai "lifestyle" is great if you can find a job there or are rich. Beautiful island. Don't expect a Cabelas. Id guess the locals dont want that anyways.
On the issue of the Molokai Ranch its private property for sale. If the locals want something to do with it - place a bid. I'm facing a similar situation where I live but I don't have the money to buy a large parcel of property to do as I wish. I have to respect the future and current property owners. I wish the Molokai residents the best in maintaining their lifestyle - I wish I had property there to enjoy and relax. The couple summers that I spent there was awesome and relaxing. Not a care in the world.

I understand what your saying .

Yup Heavies , I’m trying to recal seeing these “thugs “growing up lol what a shame how quick people judge others now days . You all starting so sound like closet case Democrats 🤫 haha so since I grew up with the Molokai way of life does that mean I grew up the “ thug life “ 😎

If they don't want outsiders they should push for legislation.
[/quote]

Lol why does it need to be political? The super ferry never made it to Molokai . It was the people of Kauai who made the stop to that . They weren’t even Hawaiian or “locals “ as you would say . Plus wasn’t there 2 truck stuck on Maui filled with river rocks from Honolulu ?  The people of Molokai don’t need help . So before you say “ let them rot “ remember that a lot in here are from there or have families that still live there .
