Wow you know I'd think honolulu would be better than big island but every time I needed to go to PD there's only around 10 people or so and firearms are only open 2 hrs a day
No if you go to the link and read it there are like seven criteria and you need to meet them all if you are out of state to CC I just highlighted to one that pertained to what I wanted to know. So if you are not actively working a case you are not permitted to carry on vacation in hawaii. Quoted directly from government page. So if hawaii law says it is not permitted how can you say it's legal?
Hey that sig, is it the one with the rosewood grips? I was looking at that over at kona guns. It is heavy for a 22 but i like it let me know how it shoots
If you are not on official duty with your governmental law enforcement agency and you are carrying a concealed firearm pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 926B, you are not considered a “law enforcement officer” in the State of Hawaii. The Hawaii Revised Statutes will be applied to you as if you were a “civilian” with no law enforcement powers.
I never noticed about the guns. Good catch. But more inconsistancies with the zombies, if the bite you, you die and become a zombie, why didn't the governor turn after being stabbed in the eye with glass from the floating zombie heads? Darryl shoots zombies with his crossbow, then hunts squirrels with his crossbow, does cooking food kill the virus? I know now he has a ton of bolts but in the first couple seasons he only had like three. Why do they always scream when attacking? Any predator knows not to let your prey know your coming. If they bite a person they zombify, why aren't there any zombie animals?
So I checked with some people, but I'm not sure how reliable this info is. LEO can carry 24/7 in the state they work in, but if in another state and not currently "on a case in which they are actively working" they are concidered like civilians. For example HI has no CC a police officer from another state who would have no jurisdiction here, comes here on vacation, he can't walk around with a gun. But like I say I concidered my source a good source of info but I wouldn't take it to the bank. If anyone can find out for sure I'd like to know because I wondered the same thing.
i thought that they could only carry if on the job. wasnt that the whole thing they were saying about that federal agent killed that guy in honolulu. he wasnt supposed to even have been armed because the conference was over?
Not a movie with a lot of guns in it but a good one for sentiment is dog day afternoon. Really felt for them at the end. Bank robbers not wanting to hurt anyone. Not to mention they had to kill the guy with Down syndrome.
Yeah well we'll see. I don't really think Korea has the military to put up the fight on all bases. Lets just for a second say all our military is busy in the Middle East. You take all the Ted nugents and gun nuts and rednecks this country has, and well be just fine. But if Lil Kim wants to knock on my door ill let my rifle answer it. Besides on I wouldn't count on rodman for anything, he is a circus. He called Jong Un one of the most humble people he ever met. Seriously?
Turkey here on big island are pretty tame in my experience, even the ones not living near condos and hotels but I gotta tell you they taste like ass. I think it's the volcanic soil or something but they're nothing like the wild turkey you find on the mainland. Not nearly as big or territorial either
Yes sir that's the one. A buddy was telling me about the other ones. Not sure where they are because its all just on private property so I've never been up there he has though. I guess it's one of those you gotta know someone kind of thing. Yeah down south is a trash dump people just dump stuff down there to shoot at but at least it's sanctioned so you won't get arrested
There is a range in hualalai and one in waikoloa that are both private. the area that I think you are thinking of up kona is a public hunting zone that is actually on private land that isn't open all the time. The only public places to shoot here are on public hunting areas and the is one range down milolii side right on mile marker 84. Not exactly sure what the areas called, sorry I forgot. But unless you know some one with land you're kind of out of luck.
So is there anything that says where in the car it has to be kept? As long as its "not readily loadable." Say my case doesn't fit in my trunk, can I keep the gun in the back seat and the ammo in the trunk?
