There's alot of eye candy at x-ring!!
but in hindsight, there should've been a safe waiting at home to secure it in. Also, I would think about your friends that you associate with. For someone to break in and just take the rifle and a couple backpacks, it's more than likely someone you know. Sometimes, lessons are learned the hard way. Hopefully not at the expense of others.
This is most definitely not something I would do....
But how bad do you think he'd freak if someone bought 500 bullets and tossed them into his yard and/or driveway in the middle of the night?
I gotta go at the end of the month for my first renewal, I didn't realize there was another 2 week wait...

you forgot better drivers, better jobs, better weather, cost of rent/housing, food, everything basically, and nicer/happier people in general. This list could actually go on and on and on and could never stop if you were to think of everything.
Sometimes I wish I brought a hacksaw so I cut chop the muzzle brakes off at the range.
They allow pics, video, interviews at shot show.. You sure? Internet gun bloggers are considered the press nowaday. The manufacturers want them there because they know gun blog viewers drive sales. Maybe you have to apply for a press pass or something. This looks like more of a old west guns type of event though with no manufacturers.
How can we check? You would think these guys would want coverage!
Hmm, here is the info, I will call tomorrow and ask for a press pass and about video. If someone is interested in walking around the floor with an HD video camera and interviewing the gun booth people for my youtube gun blog, PM me.

If the cops do get called, what are they gonna do? From what I have seen, all they will just try to talk you into not doing whatever, open carry on your property, clean your guns out in your own garage, etc... Granted, one has to refrain from communicating a threat and whatnot.
Like the rest, I prefer to keep a low profile.
But if a neighbor wants to be an ass about it, I would just get this sign and post it in my yard.
Not going to bitch about prices being unfair and what not, as I wholeheartedly believe that if you do not like what is posted in classifieds, and if the seller does not like your offer, you simply go away. But I will acknowledge that contrary to popular belief these days, firearms depreciate in value, just like cars, the minute you step out the door. It may not be as substantial, but they lose value nonetheless. And used firearms depreciate at an even faster rate. News to those who don't know: the craze is over, prices and availability are starting to stabilize, and if you were panic buying and/or looking to capitalize on it, sorry it didn't work out for you and you missed your chance to make some money.
Just out of common courtesy, I will offer you this advice: unless the firearm is deemed of historical or sentimental value, is extremely rare, or the demand is astronomical, no one in their right mind (who is well versed in purchasing firearms) is going to buy a gun for the price you bought it at, unless it fits the categories above. Out the door, it loses value; with each subsequent shot, it loses value; with extended wear and tear, it loses value. So don't be surprised if no one is interested in buying your firearm well within a few hundred dollars of the asking price, as many are genuinely considering these factors. When selling ones firearms, Its always safe to predict that you will take a loss.
Moral of the story is: Don't get all butt hurt when people make you offers you don't like, especially when they are the ones who do the research and know what the firearm is truly worth.
