Without actually knowing the specs of the truck, I'm sure its not that difficult to change, After looking at my Tacoma, it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to replace.  Seeing that a new rack lists for almost $600, and a reman'd unit goes for almost $400, I don't see the bill should be reaching the $1k range unless new tie rod ends are included as well.  I say if possible look at the bellows boots on the rack if its soaked or damp with oil or any sign of this supposed leak.

I've seen some shady things at various shops.  I say ask for a before and after print out of the alignment.

On FB I noticed a pic of Stacey Dash (Black chic on Clueless) filling out the form at a gun store.

I am curious on the numbers, what are the alarming numbers of a legal suppressor used in a crimes throughout the nation and possibly by each state?

I was leaning toward the c39 v2, but recently read about the cast parts used in many US made AKs.

I will wait and see what shakes out as the better product.

Yes, they need more signs larger in size and in different languages, just so no one could say they didn't understand English.  Also, they should create a universal "gun free zone" logo.  Oh, I can't forget the clever twitter hashtag to go will all this as it will prevent another violent crime with a gun on school and/or gun free zones area.

Idiots, since when does someone go to a bank teller to find out what is causing that knocking sound in their engine?  So why do politicians have a say on what is the best way to defend one self?  Since when did they become experts in this field?

Much respect to this guy.

It's the school's fault, obviously.  The "Gun Free Zone" signs were obviously not visible.  The school needs larger signs and placed in more areas around the school.

As stated above.

His family must have access to some high level strings to pull to have that trade deal.

General Discussion / Re: Fireclean is Crisco?
« on: September 13, 2015, 07:59:01 AM »
Well, I used to use Crisco or whatever the generic stuff is for building turbine engines for the US Army's M1 Abrams.  I never questioned why this particular product was used, I just rolled with it.

I have used Fireclean on some firearms just to see if it lives up to it's claims.  While others, I use a mix of various automotive lubricants.

My experience with Hondas, no shim is needed for starters as none was ever made that I have seen.  Like I mentioned in another thread, I often find it difficult to accurately diagnose car problems behind a keyboard, I need hands on.  But from what was posted, I say maybe post up a vid of some sort.

I wrench for a living, I have had bad luck with reman'd parts from O'reillys.  I say one tool everyone should invest in is a digital multimeter.  Having the actual voltage numbers helps in trying to diagnose problems like these.

Yeah, the cop doesn't want to do the paperwork.  I bet if it was the cop's sister that made that complaint more would be done.  I would have done the paperwork and filed whatever complaints to the HOA.

I would not doubt the accountability was screwed up.  I also would not doubt the firearms were destroyed weeks if not months ago.

Not all the members on this site are on Oahu.  As much as I want to participate in these types of pro 2a events, it's just not financially feasible for me to do so.
