Although my faith in that White House petition site is low.  Has the White House ever given official response to any 2A related subject as a result of crossing the 100,000 signature threshold? 
That old 'Repeal the NFA' petition listed on there had crossed the 100k mark back in February of 2017. Sitting at over 300k, currently collecting digital dust.

Maybe Hawaii should study how California cities are dealing with the homeless.....

Judge Benitez rendered his opinion late Friday afternoon and handed Second Amendment supporters a sweeping victory by completely invalidating California’s 10-round limit on magazine capacity. “Individual liberty and freedom are not outmoded concepts,” he declared.
Friday’s order prohibits California from enforcing its magazine restrictions, leaving its law-abiding residents safer and freer, at least for the time being.

Great! Not that Hawaii lawmakers care about the Bill of Rights, so it'll probably never happen here.

I wish every law maker who had any involvement with a law that violates the constitution would face jail time, not only the 2a, but all parts of the Bill of Rights.

They currently make laws with absolutely no worries about repercussions.  They dare us to take it to a higher court to fight/defend said rights because they know how long and dragged out they can make it with delay tactics.
Since our rights are on trial, shouldn't those rights be afforded the 6th amendment? Speedy trial?  Not years-long (rights delayed; rights denied).

I might be interested if we can get prices below normal local prices. I'd mainly be interested in 223, 5.56, and 9mm. Hopefully there're enough BI peeps to make a group buy worthwhile.

Venezuelans regret gun ban, 'a declaration of war against an unarmed population'

“Guns would have served as a vital pillar to remaining a free people, or at least able to put up a fight,” Javier Vanegas, 28, a Venezuelan teacher of English now exiled in Ecuador, told Fox News. “The government security forces, at the beginning of this debacle, knew they had no real opposition to their force. Once things were this bad, it was a clear declaration of war against an unarmed population.”

Under the direction of then-President Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan National Assembly in 2012 enacted the “Control of Arms, Munitions and Disarmament Law,” with the explicit aim to “disarm all citizens.” The law took effect in 2013, with only minimal pushback from some pro-democracy opposition figures, banned the legal commercial sale of guns and munitions to all - except government entities.

“Venezuelans didn’t care enough about it. The idea of having the means to protect your home was seen as only needed out in the fields. People never would have believed they needed to defend themselves against the government,” Vanegas explained. “Venezuelans evolved to always hope that our government would be non-tyrannical, non-violator of human rights, and would always have a good enough control of criminality.”

He said it didn’t take long for such a wide-eyed public perception to fall apart. “If guns had been a stronger part of our culture, if there had been a sense of duty for one to protect their individual rights, and as a show of force against a government power – and had legal carry been a common thing – it would have made a huge difference,” he lamented.
