I know it's been years since the last post. however, the state actually cleans most of the range. all the guys who cut the grass and clean up the area are the same guys who upkeep the armory on mokulele. I had to use the 5ton to drop off some equipment to them a few times so they could weed wack, chainsaw trees down ect. idk where the money goes because it doesn't go to the guys who clean the range. they always hate when they have to go down to do maintence down ukumaehamae. so I'm going to assume the money goes for other things like targets and supplies ect. however for the range upkeep the army national guards facilities state employees bounce between our armory to ukumaehamae.
