I grew up in the Mountains of Oregon.  I'm a redneck.  I'm not an "expert hunter" of everything.  I know how to shoot a bow or any firearm and kill something, but I don't know the finer points of "Hog hunting".  TOTALLY willing to learn. 

Here's how I see it. We all come from the earth.  We eventually return to the earth.  We should learn to better use and protect the earth before we go.  To me, going into the woods is like going to the gym for exercise, like going to church for healing and being closer to God, like going to the grocery store to provide for ones family.

I'm willing to do the hard work for some good lessons.

Thanks!  I went out to recon the area  a couple weeks ago and ran into a guy called "Cowboy Pete".  He works up at the church on Homestead road or something.  Anyway, I noticed a DLNR sign on the ground that said "Archery Only".  Is there rifle hunting up there?
