DNC pushing this bill.

Not that it really matters here because of you know registration and "RAPBACK". I'm still gonna email my senators to vote against this bill.

General Discussion / Armed Robbery In Manoa
« on: August 08, 2019, 09:04:40 AM »
Guess who's involved with the robber again...

Criminals know HI is a huge soft target because no one is armed.  The only worry they have is if they try and rob another criminal (probably armed).  Watch, if nothing is done soon, this guy will be running part of HI in 10 years.

General Discussion / Pistol braces to go the way of the bump stock
« on: August 07, 2019, 02:19:55 PM »
Read some fake news headlines and the words "pistol brace" was used.  Apparently, it makes a SBR more deadly.  Even though shooters brace was missing the straps.

Wait didn't he die in 2014?

General Discussion / More TX Shootings

San Antonio PD stopped by finding the AK and mags that William Williams was going to use to shoot up a hotel in San Antonio.  He told his grandma his plans.

Someone trying to get the TX vote...

For fake news purposes, he's white.

More like confiscation groups.

Here I just saved everyone the time any candidate who goes will call for 1) Common sense gun control 2) Universal background checks 3) Assault weapon ban

And all will have no idea how to implement any of the above.

Since Vegas does allow OC, I hope pro 2A people show up slung/holstering outside the event.  As long as it's not within a school zone.

*Edit
The best part is good ole Hoggy boy will be there.  I wonder if he's gonna ride his bicycle there in record time?

4) Phrase "common sense gun control"
5) Stricter gun control is mentioned
6) Anytime a right is violated by anyone's plans for X topic
7) Someone suggest breaking the law (federal or state)
8) The number of American flags either in the background or as a pin on a jacket
9) Creepy Joe inappropriately touches someone
10) Robert jumps on the podium or an object not meant to be stood on
11) Booker looks angry

And the finally, chug the entire bottle if anyone says the phrase: "Illegal alien", "Illegal immigrant", "illegal voter", "Illegally entered"

General Discussion / Top Shot Chris
« on: July 22, 2019, 11:36:29 AM »
So he has a camera at his front door.  Around 11:40pm last night some dude rings his door asking for help that someone was trying to get him. Guy at the door looked like a bum/crackhead.

He was unarmed at the time and so was his husband who was at the front door.  The door was never opened.  He called 911 and they never showed.  But the guy left after 2 mins.  He never even had a chance to grab his gun.

Lessons learned is he will have to reevaluate his home defense plan.  And in his door cam, he did see a 2nd person yelling at the guy at his front door.

Not sure of what CA laws are, but my handgun is always in arms reach.  And if someone does knock on my door at night or at anytime that I'm not expecting company, the gun is already in my hand within seconds.  It seems he had to go get it while talking to 911.

Vid is on his IG topshotschris

Tim Kennedy was better prepared.

So thinking of getting rid of Spectrum cable because I don't really watch the shows anymore, or can find the shows I want via Amazon Prime or Netflix.

What other streaming services (legal) are available?  Post em here and why you like them and cost.

General Discussion / Area 51 Storm the gate
« on: July 11, 2019, 09:56:02 AM »
Morons planning an event to storm the gate at Area 51.  Their rational is "they can't stop us all Naruto style".

Pretty sure this is a satire event, but you never know what idiots will attend and try.  IIRC, signs do say "use of deadly force authorized".  I guess it will thin the gene pool.

General Discussion / CA Background Check to Buy Ammo
« on: June 26, 2019, 10:24:58 AM »
https://ktla.com/2019/06/25/new-california-initiative-will-require-background-checks-for-ammo-purchases/

Effective 7/1.  $1 per check, that's if their website is working.  Like how it worked when people had to register their "assault rifles".

If you are not in the system because you bought stuff prior to 2014, then it's a $19 fee per check and only good for 30 days.  Check could take a few days to be completed.

The kicker, CA also wants ammo buyers to prove they're in the country legally if their drivers license has "federal limits apply" on it.  Ain't that some shit?

It's not like ammo can be bought across state lines, like if CA was surrounded by an ocean like HI.

Ammo sales increased by 300%.  Guess gotta also fill all those grandfathered mags.

General Discussion / 2A is to protect you from a tyranical goverment

But what if you are part of the government?

But this does bring up a question, at what point will LE not "just follow orders"?  We have seen many Sheriff departments state they will not enforce red flag laws since they're unconstitutional.

Off Topic / Beth Chapman in Coma
« on: June 24, 2019, 01:53:35 PM »
So to show how the TV twist things, I read the comments on FB and everyone is acting like she's an angel.

My UH professor had an interaction with her years ago.  He's a ref for Pop Warner football (little kids).  As refs, parking spots are saved for them with a cone so this way the game can start on time.  If not the ref may be looking around for parking.  And in this instance, he was.  Ref was running late so the cone was in a stall for him.  Here comes Beth and she drives her SUV over the cone into the stall.  They tell her it's saved for the ref and he's on his way.  The children's football game can't start until he gets here.  She begins to mouth off at my professor and the other refs.

Granted, she is correct that anyone is allowed to park there, but she didn't have to be a bitch about it.  She even told the regs to call the cops on her.

And if you ever watch the show, they're not doing what they do to help change people, they're only looking after their interest which is the bond.  Because to go after someones collateral takes way more time and effort.  And if they were really there to help, they would let people who have pages of priors sit in jail instead of posting a bond for them to make money.

So I could care less if she recovers from the coma.  Just my 2 cents.

General Discussion / HNL on Lockdown
« on: June 19, 2019, 09:26:35 AM »
So let's do a recap, but keep in mind, many things may be in hindsight.

1) Vid I saw there was many people hitting the deck in the terminal area and staying on the ground.

For me, that enclosed area is a kill box (see NZ mosque shooting vid if you can find it).  If I hear no gun fire, I wouldn't stay on the ground, but get up and act like a full back and clear the way for my wife so we can get out of dodge after a brief assessment of no gun fire, regardless what people are yelling.

Granted not many people know what gunfire sounds like or it's relative proximity.

2) If I did hear gunfire and thought it was relatively close or see people being hit/the gunman, then that changes everything.  Hit the deck, crawl toward cover (diff from concealment).  Hope for a blind spot to attack.  Like behind a pillar waiting for that muzzle to clear the corner, or sneak up in blind spot.

3) IDK if the gates are locked, but  if they aren't then I guess you could go down the gate and if there's no plane docked, then jump 2 stories to the concrete.  But what if there is a plane there blocking your egress?  Odds are a shooter won't go down the gate just for 1 or 2 people.   They're going to continue on their rampage.  Same philosophy for locked door.  Shooter isn't going to spend to much time on a locked door trying to gain entry (See NZ vid again where he jiggled the door knob then moved on).  Don't forget to  look out the window to see if the  shooter is on the runway.

4) If I was in the check in area and had my luggage, I would not unzip my suitcase and take my gun out.  Unless I really had to, like if rounds are hitting near me.  Responding armed people might think I'm the bad guy.

Any other input
