Fuck it! This is bull shit! I contribute a shit load of money to the gov. As far as taxes but, they shut me out from eligibility to receive money from the wuhan pay out! SMH!

The last thing you want is big daddy govt. taxing you to give you your own money back.

HiFiCo dues are the best money I’ve ever spent.
I can confirm one coworker bought his first rifle for corona related home defense.

You don't really have to register for a party here.  You just grab whatever party ballot on election day.

Considering the return on my time investment for voting I'd just as soon put in as little effort as possible and get the ballets mailed.  I only leave the house for survival and to attend HIFICO events. (I swear.)

It’s definitely strategy. I get to vote against an anti gun democrat incumbent twice. If Zippz can stand to sit through a moms demand action meeting I can stand to pretend to be a Democrat.

If a pro gun Republican can't win an election then I'll do my part to vote out the anti gun Democrat candidates in the primaries.  Cheers!

I've informed my coworkers that their fiat money is now worthless to me and that going forward I will only accept payment in bullets, silver and Goldbacks.  As proof of concept I repaid a $16.50 debt with 5.56.  I did not receive any complaints.

Don’t listen to the naysayers!  I got mine yesterday. I don’t know if it’ll catch on but it’s the coolest thing I’ve gotten for free in forever. Looks fantastic.

Awesome that you're taking coworker's shooting!

Breathtaking beard you say?   ;D

I bought my AR just to get coworkers to try it out. I think the boys are up to 7-8 AR’s purchased between them plus another 1/2 dozen pistols.  My plan succeeded beyond my wildest dreams.

As for the beard, I’ve got 8 months of growth giving that suave silver mofo a run for his money. I’ve still got some color left in mine though.
(I’m doing a “how much beard can I grow in a year?” experiment.)

A couple chaps from work and I will be shooting subcompact pistols on the paper target side Saturday. If anybody sees me (white guy, brown hair 220lbs with a breathtaking beard) and wants to try a Kahr P380, Bursa Thunder 380CC, or boring Glocks just say hello. I’ll hook ya up.

First email of the year if any of you guys need ideas.

Rep Takayama,

I have recently learned that you are intending to introduce legislation that would limit the capacity for firearm magazines.  I would like to ask you to reconsider further restricting the rights of Hawaii's citizens.

New years eve was a celebration of our hopes for a brighter future.  The seemingly endless display of illegal fireworks was however a glaring testimonial of the ineffectiveness of prohibition in general and HPD in particular.  I have no faith that your overtures toward a magazine ban will accomplish anything beyond banning high capacity magazines at the Koko Head shooting complex.  Criminals do not care if they're following the law and there is an abundant supply of magazines already on the island and there is almost no meaningful barrier to more arriving even after a ban is put in place.  3d printing has already produced functional magazines and the internet and social media provide numerous how to guides to create similar items.

Imposing magazine restrictions will have the adverse affect of making myself and others like me  less able to effectively defend our homes and families from increasingly brazen criminals.  Word has gotten out that HPD is incapable of a meaningful response to property and violent crime.  If I can not count on the state of Hawaii to effectively protect myself, my family, and my property from those who would wish me harm then please do not further impede my ability to be my own effective first responder.

I remember the missile launcher cartoon when it was passed around by xerox copy in the 90’s. That’s a great piece.

I did splurge and picked up a 1 oz silver bar and sent it to my buddy going through a divorce so he would “have a foundation to rebuild his fortunes, and money that his soon to be ex can’t get her hooks in.”

I doubt most people have ever seen a silver bar before so it adds a cool factor and as any revolver lover can tell you with complete confidence that style does matter.

Over the last couple months I’ve been having an enjoyable time following the history of precious metals. Like you guys are saying, there’s not really money to be made for Joe Average but it does afford a classier version of littering your bed with dollars and rolling in it. ;). I’ll stick to the silver dollars for now but it’s still fun to window shop.
I let my boss know I’ll be calling in sick on the 30th. He smiled and nodded.  I’ll see you there gentlemen.

My wife got me the Morgan and the bicentennial Eisenhower. I’ve had a lot of fun looking online and learning about coins. I think you’re right that coins will follow stamps. There’s a lot of similarities between the gun and coin collectors getting most excited about the latest new hotness in minted coins and bullion designs.

There’s something to be said about money that’ll hold its value in all but the most dire situations though, and the pleasure I get from looking at all the details on the 120 year old Morgan feels an awful lot like the feeling I get working my great grandfather’s 1894 Winchester (production year 1896!).

Anyway, thanks for the tips. The coins are fantastic!
