As an option, long-gun applicants may have their processed permits mailed to them. Applicants need to provide a self-addressed pre-paid envelope, certified restricted-delivery return receipt required(available at the U.S. Post Office) at time of application for permit. Long-gun (rifles/shotguns) permits are valid for one (1) year from the date of issue. Be advised that a handgun (pistols/revolvers) permit is valid for only ten (10) days from the date of issue.

Quoted, verbatim, on HPD's website

I though I saw a post that someone did this.
Anyone successfully went this route?

My factory direct price on the link and pre-order for 2A Hawaii members.
I'm sure the stores will mark up accordingly

7
Will you be bringing your products to the gun show? Looking to buy

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

Yes sir, we will be there at the same spot

Can we buy from u direct?

Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
At the moment, No.
It would be more cost effective, to  have the local stores provide them as part of their regular sales.
The other option is a group buy of at least 10 or more units. However, having the stores stock them make it consistently available on a monthly basis.

Bought a Solo a few months ago and really like it. Recommend you pick one up for yourself.
Thank you sir, We appreciate your business

After much field testing, market research and customer feedback, we are pleased to announce the Fabtek Engineering “SOLO” will be part of our regular production line.

What does that mean? Along with the Steel Target Frame Set, the “SOLO” will also be for sale at participating stores.

As of now, this release invitation has been sent to current and new stores for consideration.
If your favorite shop/store does not carry our target systems and you would like them to, ask them to inquire for options.

Estimated price?

Need to make sure I have the cash ready.

No set price point at this time. I can say that it will be almost $100 less than what "Big Brother" retails at the stores.
This was meant to be an entry level set, that's very reasonably priced and compatible with all Fabtek Engineering target systems.

It will come as you see in the middle photo. (1) 5" Diameter 1/2" Thick AR500 gong and NO wood frame.

Please also note, this is not a regular production model we manufacture and retail.
This a limited release, that's only available at the Octobers' Gun show. We are doing this to help support the Hawaii Historic Arms Association generate more exposure and presence at the show.

I may start a "Pre-Order" list for just 2A Hawaii Members, I'll keep you guys posted.
Please don't post here if you want on the pre order list.  I'll start a new thread on the classified section when the time comes.

Tom,

Check out some local camera or dive shop. This is also widely used for camera equipment.

I remember a camera shop in kaimuki that sold pelican cases.

Reloading / Re: NOOOB!!

I would say the best thing to buy "First" is a reloading book or two. Definitely one from a projectile manufacture like Hornady or Sierra, and maybe a Lyman book.
Read them twice till terms like "Ogive" or "OAL" and the benefits of a "Single stage", or a "Turret" or "Progressive" Presses start to have meaning, rather than other peoples suggestions.
This will also greatly help your learning curve when you get advice from other members and their words make a lot of sense.
There are great members here to give you hands on advise and being able to relate to their advise rather than a crash course will be a big plus for your reloading experience. :shaka:

BTW, I reload the same calibers as your needs on a Turret Press. If you are venturing on that direction, give me a shout, I can give you some tips.

Check out fabtek94-he builds awesome frames and steel targets.. :shaka:

Hey thanks for the endorsement guys😀

Most of the known shops will have the wood frames to get you started. I saw a set at SEC the other day.

But when you are ready to shoot some steel, look me up at that link or at www.FabtekEngineering.com

dogman and Fabtek,

You guys seeing this ?

Neat find Inspector.

That would be fairly easy to duplicate
My worry would be the cost for the large AR plate for the backstop.
Being that its will be for pistols only, you could get away with just 3/8 thick AR 400 or 500 plate.
Unfortunately, I have no resource for that large of a plate, but I believe dogman may be a great source. :shaka:

If you want me to give you an estimate let me know :shaka:
