Air Force Sgt. Matt Pinkerton Fires 2 Fatal Shots at Home Intruder - Now Faces 2nd Degree Murder Charge

According to the state prosecutor, Sgt Pinkerton should have dialed 9-1-1 and waited for the police.  The police took 5 minutes to arrive after being called.  This, after Green kicked in the Pinkerton's front door at 2 AM.

If you dissolve your enemies in acid, technically that's turning your problems into a solution.

While I agree completely that the Sgt. should not have been charged, and that the prosecutor is a complete ass, it does illustrate why, if possible, you, or someone else should try and call 911 ASAP, if for no other reason than to say you did and to record the incident.

I some how get the feeling from the article that there was a lot more going on between the three than a simple un-expected, un-announced home intrusion at 2 a.m.

You read my mind. I think there is alot more to this story, which could explain the prosecution.

I've been deployed, stationed in Korea and away from the house over the years.... there  is no way in hell a guy would be living in my house when I'm gone!
