Yup.  But from those humble beginnings....

Thanks to the dedication of those dozens of volunteers who put their boots in the mud.... er.... sneakers on the pavement.

From across the street at one of their street sign up sites.  I tried to get them to wave to the camera during a break in traffic, but not too many heard me holler:  The white flag shows a picture of one of those "modern sporting arms in common use" which are referred to by antis as  "assault rifles," but the wind let it down just as I pressed the shutter button.
