That comment doesn't include me at all.  I have never been a football fan, especially pro franchises.  Too much money spent on a game, like it really means something when "your team" wins.
I never have understood why we spend a few months of our lives watching and supporting pro sports while people go hungry, homeless, and without basic necessities every day of the year .
Meanwhile, the guy who can run, throw, and tackle gets a full college scholarship and a pro contract worth millions right out of school.
I've long held the opinion our nation has a real problem setting priorities when it comes to sports versus more pragmatic endeavors.
Exactly. Do shooting sports offer comparable incentives and large fan base? Nope. It's not that exciting to watch either. It's comparable to watching golf.

Whatever, it sucks.  But I don't have a problem with a company or corporation trying to stay as neutral as possible on a well known "touchy" subject.  They are just trying to make as much money as possible without stepping on any toes.

Entertainment is a form of control to distract the sheep from the real issues or problems that cannot be easily be solved.

Dayum, that sounds like a line that should have been in the movie the Matrix.  The scene where Neo is presented with the blue pill and the red pill.

As for the NFL's stance on the DD ad, IMO F**K them.  I don't care for so called "Pro sports" that include some kind of ball.  It's BORING....  The only time I see those hyped up commercials during the superbowl, basically just during the news cast after the game and the day after.  After those people hype up which commercials were good, I look it up on youtube.

That's the problem, they aren't neutral on the 'touchy' subject.  I haven't seen it has been said that anti-gun propaganda is allowed to be aired...
