roll pin starter punch.

assembling a few lowers. i looked for these at home depot and lowes with no luck. anybody in the ewa area care to lend me one for a few hours? :shaka:

I don't use a punch to install the pins. I use the channel locks method. I put some tape On the channel locks metal teeth to avoid scratching the lower and then I squeeze the pin into the hole instead of beating it in there.

I wrap tape around the pin to the roll pin punch. I use blue tape since that's what I use to cover the lower to prevent damage

kmart / sears has 2 decent sets
relativly cheap chinese or made in usa craftsmans.
