Any local Coin dealers with scruples?
« on: March 04, 2019, 08:37:14 PM »
I know nothing about coins but have some left to me by my dad when he passed away.  They may be worth nothing or MILLIONS(probably not) so does anyone know of an honest Coin dealer?

A friend of mine is a reputable coin dealer and he'll be at the gun show on Sat - he'll have a case with coins and gun stuff on his table.

Coins for guns  ... almost as good as magic beans.

Gary Tanaka is often at the gun show and he does almost all of the collector and coin shows.  In my opinion he consistently pays top dollar.  He bought all of the coins from the estate of a friend's friend and they were able to re-roof their house with the money.

I've sold him most of my collection when I thought silver was pretty high and I don't regret it.

I have gone to the guy in windward city shopping center a few times. Not the best people skills but I never got the vibe he might try to rip me off. Just do some research ahead of time so you at least know if a buyer is in the right ballpark.
