The Worst SCOTUS decision: Heller. Former Justice John Paul Stevens (Read 1689 times)

This guy is still peddling this crap. All the lies about Miller... who didn't even have counsel appear at oral arguments... and that the court was so ignorant that they ruled that the short-barreled shotguns that had been used in WWI as "trench sweepers" had no military use... it goes on and on... these people lie, lie, lie, and then lie some more. And we pay the price. I'm so sick of it...

I'd suggest you don't read this article if you have any blood pressure issues...

The Supreme Court’s Worst Decision of My Tenure

District of Columbia v. Heller recognized an individual right to possess a firearm under the Constitution. Here’s why the case was wrongly decided.

New Jersey 2A attorney Even Nappen on NRA-TV Cam and Company discussing the Stevens article, and then at the end briefly rants about New Jersey's "justifiable need" requirement for a carry license (essentially the same as our "exceptional case" requirement of a particularized documented threat), which is up for review for cert by SCOTUS next week.

I think allowing the cops to strip search you for no reason at all (Florence) or that cops have no duty to protect you (Warren) were both much worse decisions. But then again I'm not an old rich guy with private security.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
