PSA: Shoot at your OWN target

When shooting at Kokohead bring your own target and shoot at YOUR OWN target!
Buddy had an expensive Silver Mountain target system set up and someone was shooting at his target. From the POI it appeared that someone was trying to shoot out his sensor.
Don't be a prick! Shoot at your own target! #TargetsMatter

I can't know for sure, but maybe they were just trying to screw with the owner's scoring?  Rather than hitting the sensors, maybe he was trying to just hit an outer ring?  He's probably a poor shot, so there's no telling what he was actually aiming at.

Anyway, if I caught someone doing that, they's be buying me a new target system (whether or not he managed to hit the sensor -- I'd swear it was no longer working  :geekdanc:). Maybe I'd call the Cops for willful destruction of private property, too.  I'd also see that the RSO banned them from KHSC.

There's no room at the range for asshats like that.

Sunday had a buncha mainland Haoles who were clueless, a little spooky, and pretty dumb. The ROs were on it, and even babysat one, who was a little bit hopeless. But as a born & raised Local Haole those MFers were making me shamed of my species.

One of my coworkers got there late and also forgot his stand, so I let him share my table and stand.

I described my stand....even though it was in line with the table.  He still shot at someone else’s target

It was not his first rodeo......he may have been hungover

Yesterday, we had a bunch of new people from work.

One of them was shooting at the targets on the next lane, luckily it was my targets

Also, one of the new shooters almost shot my Ar at my coworker’s 22lr swinger at the 50.  I luckily caught him first ....”the gong is in the BACK, not the front “

I need to put large numbers and/or colored ribbon tape on my stands...or maybe just paint the stands

My rifle stands always have a large number drawn next to the targets.  So, when we are taking turns, we can call out which number target we are using.  Cuts down on confusion and helps distinguish my stand from all the others without numbered targets.
