Eli Dicken's gun

Eli Dicken's stopped an active shooter at a shopping mall last year, making hits on 2 out of 4 shots at 43 yards then closing the distance making 8 hits out of 10 roudns fired.  Here's the gun he used, a stock Glock 19 w/factory sites and Olight and Blazer FMJ.  It's not the gun, it's the person behind the gun.  Though I'd get some JHP instead of FMJ.

He had no formal training and was taught by his grandfather.  Guess he just had a lot of practice to do what he did.

I would be a proud dad or grandfather.
My dad and grandfather taught me to shoot about 60 years ago.
Coincidentally,  I just posted a pic in the photo section earlier today.
What, Me Worry?

I hope he's OK, because he has been silent about this. Like no PTSD or squeezing cheeks, hoping the DA doesnt' charge him for a BS reason.

*edit

Wonder if he was running FMJ because he couldn't get HP?

I read somewhere when it first happened that he was using a Hellcat.

Thread got deleted on ar15.com.  Talked about typical young gun owner only being able to afford what he got.  Still got the plastic sights on it which were damaged in a motorcycle accident.

In other articles I've read he learned to shoot when he was young and dryfired a lot.  But didn't live fire much.
