Hawaii has always used "Administrative Rules" extensively. Un-elected bureaucrats making law.
If the Court rules right on this it could be a gamechanger.

It has always bothered me that un-elected government union administrators
can make rules that will put you in jail, take your possessions, and destroy your life.
There are way too many laws and rules.
I'm a "Keep It Simple Stupid" sort of guy.
There is an ancient manuscript called a Bile that have ten commandments that pretty much cover everything.
Leaving out the religious parts,  there are just a few rules. that apply to all mankind.
regardless of beliefs.
Don't murder, honor your parents, don't steal,  don't cheat on your spouse,  Don't lie,  don't harm your neighbor or deprive him
of his rights because you want to.
simple things like that.
Reduce the laws to that. basic format
Before y'all go secular on me,  those ten commandments are the base foundation for our entire American legal system.

That's essentially "mala in se" vs. "mala prohibitia". The reason these exist is because not everyone has the same moral compass. Some people think it's okay to commit "murder" in the normalized sense, the same way some people think the 2A means anyone can own any gun, carry it anywhere, any time they choose. There is always a sensible middle, though people forget about it. I make a silly example? It's silly. They make a silly example? it's 'reasonable'. We're never going to have laws that make sense to 'most people' if we keep battling for the 'extremes'.

So in your opinion:

1) Do you think a bump stock is a machine gun?
2) Do you think a piece of metal that only when inserted into a gun allows it to fire full auto, should be considered a machine gun. (The small metal part only, not the entire firearm with the part inserted)
3) Do you think a drawing of something that doesn't work, but is intended to allow a firearm to fire in full auto is considered a machine gun?
4) Do you think that a book on how to make explosives is an explosive (Anarchists Cook Book)?

They had a pretty good episode about this on Bannon's War Room yesterday.

Getting rid Chevron deference would kneecap the deep state. Their policies are so bad that they only function in darkness.
Sharing is caring, but forced redistribution is communism.
