Actually, I was pretty impressed with the math and the logic was not bad--if the distribution of coins was more or less even then you would have been much closer.  As it was, you were only off by $20 or so.

Anyway, give game #2 a shot.

Dang-nab it, I did that once.  Weighed 'em, brought 'em in to the bank for their coin counter, but now I forget the numbers.  I coulda estrapolumnated.

I do notice that my change bowl starts to have a majority of pennies after a while since when I go out and put some change in my pocket, I choose the higher-value coins.
