2016 election be a repeat of 2012?
« on: January 14, 2015, 09:15:32 PM »
with the elections coming up quick I'm slowly starting to get prepared firearm and ammo wise for what might happen. i turned 21 in 2012 so i was thrown into the chaos right away with long lines at hpd, scarce ammo and guns. Do you guys this 2016 could be a repeat of 2012 with panic buys and gouging? i know if  Hillary  Clinton gets nominated we're pretty screwed. Whats your guys outlook look like?

Anything can happen.  Especially when people cannot get behind a candidate that may not have all the same views and ideals as that person wants.

Not so many look at the big picture, and are too caught up in wanting everything NOW.  Problem is when you want everthing NOW, you generally start losing more of what you got.  Once lost, hard to get back.

Just VOTE and encourage other to do so as well.  It's discouraging,  I know, however, it is YOUR VOICE, if you don't speak it, you'll lose that too.

I hope not.
But we do have the potential to turn the tide, the problem is that WE have to make a collective effort.
If we have the same crowds that register new guns, go to Kokohead on Sundays, and that same large crowd votes - then we have a very strong voice that the legislature will have to address.
But sadly, we don't have a turnout as we should (ex: tonight's HRA meeting), which runs parallel to our overall state voter turnout.

Unfortunately, we still have the electoral college system = this state is mentally lacking & will vote democrat for president - not to discourage anyone from voting.

Hillary without a doubt get the democrat's party nomination - who else can they nominate (even though her appeal is fading due to her less than stellar stint as Secretary of State).  But, if the republicans get their act together (which I am very hopeful for), then she can be beaten.  If repubs cannot, then buy as much guns & ammo as possible as Hillary will make Obama look like a school girl and put forward (via XO) policies that will make you weep.

Obama is setting the stage to allow illegal immigrant the right to vote - even though they do not need that right as positive picture identification as a requirement to prove citizenship has been struck down as unconstitutional more than once = anyone who shows up can vote.   :wtf: :wtf:
