Thank you, for taking interest in the Basic Pistol Safety Course at the Royal Hawaiian Shooting Club.

This course complies with the Hawaii State law that requires handgun purchasers to attend a firearm safety course, taught by a NRA certified pistol instructor. This course includes training in the fundamentals of handgun safety, practical hands-on training, a live fire shooting session, and information regarding Hawaii’s firearm laws.

The class fee of $180 includes course materials, range and handgun use, ammunition.


Requirements for Class:

1. Must be at least 21 years of age
2. Valid Photo ID: Driver’s license, State ID, Military ID
3. Shoes
4. Small note pad & pen

Time: 10am-5pm (Please arrive by 9.45am)
Where: Royal Hawaiian Shooting Club, Building A- 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center

Payment: Cash, Credit Card (We do not accept checks)
Payment will be collected prior to class

Please fill out the forms found online & return them via mail or fax by Sunday October 30, 2011.The class will start promptly at 10:00am. Anyone late will not be able to enroll in the class. It is highly advised that you arrive at 9:45am to fill out additional paperwork, prior to class starting.

For Parking, we have a deal with the shopping center to allow our students to pay a flat rate ($7) to park in the center.
