Maine to allow carrying of concealed guns without permit
Governor signed bill Wednesday

Quote
Maine Gov. Paul LePage has signed an NRA-backed bill that will allow residents to carry a concealed handgun without obtaining a permit.

Maine will become the sixth state in the country with such a policy when the law goes into effect 90 days after lawmakers adjourn later this month.

The bill deeply divided Maine's law enforcement community. Maine State Police supported it, but many local law enforcement agencies opposed it.

Good stuff.
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

According to some other things I read,

Quote
As of July 1, 2015,

1. Alaska,
2. Arizona,
3. Arkansas,
4. Kansas,
5. Vermont and
6. Wyoming

are considered constitutional carry states.

In Wyoming's case, permitless carry is for residents only; non-residents must have a permit to carry a concealed handgun in that state.

So, first thing is, the article I cited has Maine becoming the sixth state.  The information I'm seeing in many other places puts them at #7.  Just a detail, but it's a good point.

Also, if Wyoming is classified as "permitless carry" for residents only, then Maine is in the same camp.  Some are defining Constitutional Carry as allowing all US citizens to carry, not just residents.

Just thought I'd add some facts that might help unmuddy some of the news floating around.

If you allow government to break the law for an "emergency" they will create "emergencies" to break the law.

That's true. If this is really Constitutional Carry, then all you should need is to be a citizen.
