NRA ILA Meeting

I'm working to get the NRA-ILA rep to talk to the gun community so you can learn what they do, what they're working on, and answer questions.  Keep it civil.  It'll be in the coming weeks, not sure when as it depends on their schedule and when the hearings take place.  It'll be short notice, probably on a weekday night, maybe over dinner or drinks.

Need youir assurance you will make your best effort to attend.  Msg me your name and phone number if attending.  First come, first served.

Would it be "uncivil" to ask them if they support the various Hawaii proposed bumpstock/rate of fire increase ban bills, or do they just support "regulation" by the BATFE as they've proposed?

Kind of equal to the response we got for Rat Back.

Before you start, I get it, we need to do this for ourselves. But support at crucial times like that is supposed to be what they're about.

They abandoned us.

Dan mentioned on FB that he was planning a meet and greet at the legislature early next week, and I'm going to try and be there.

Had a productive meeting talking about NRA strategies, RAPBACK lawsuit, and what Hawaii can do to improve gun rights activism.
