More and more frequently now we are seeing and hearing the "commonsense gun safety regulations" advocates (aka "total civilian disarmament" advocates) who always drone on and on and on about how "no one wants to take your guns away" slip up and tell the truth... and lo and behold, that truth is that they want to take our guns away! Who coulda guessed?! Also note that the loud applause she receives when she suggests the confiscation is in part (likely "mostly" or "all") from the number of orange-clad Demanding Moms in attendance...

You answered our call to show up at the Deerfield Public Library Tuesday evening for the Julie Morrison (pictured above) town hall meeting.  And you made her and Rep. Bob Morgan squirm.

The highlight of the evening was little Julie losing her temper to Mike Weisman’s interrogation over the logic of her wanting to ban scary black guns because they are dangerous, but her willingness to allow current owners to keep them if they pay a ‘fine’ and register them.

Morrison’s response:  “Maybe we’ll just have a confiscation and you won’t have to worry about having to pay a fine.”

When ever I get the "no one wants to take your guns away" quote, I respond with the federal assault weapons bill 2017 & 2018.  The one that names every make and model that will be illegal of semi autos.

And if they're local, then I tell them about this years bills that would have made all semi autos illegal and the repeal of the 2a by Chang.

Then they respond with "oh, well you know..."
