Standard capacity pistol mags in Hawaii?

Maybe we will see our unconstitutional ban on “assault pistols” and “high capacity pistol mags” stuck down anytime soon?

Colorado judge issues a temporary stay on ordinance banning mags and sporting defense rifles.  :o

Don’t get too hopeful unless it reaches SCOTUS or the 9th Circuit

If the case sets precedent, it would be easier for a Hawaii suit to follow on this.

There is already a case in HI from HIFICO director Abbott pending ruling on a 9th circuit ruling.

So we got 1 in the pipe already. ETA maybe a year.

Y'all haven't noticed but virtually every Hawaii gun law is un-Constitutional.
The government here relies upon the fact we are sheep,  will obey in the interim,  and it takes years to get through the courts.
And even when overturned they still drag their feet to comply as they know it will take years to get someone to enforce compliance.
I've noticed one of the biggest concerns here is a PTA,  which is about as un-constitutional as it gets.
Since when do you have to get permission to exercise a right?
We here follow the law.
And have lively discussions about how we stupidly follow the law.
Anybody know a good criminal lawyer on the Big Island, mine died recently.
I'm getting ready to sue our police chief.

Anyone ever take apart an old golf ball?  SCOTUS has removed the cover, now the rubber band winding will start to unravel.

I heard a good analogy this week.  We're watching the "reverse domino effect."

Over decades, gun rights have been falling like dominoes.  As one constitutional right after another fell through more gun control laws, the courts and the gun rights advocates avoided taking the cases to SCOTUS knowing the wrong decision could keep the dominoes down in perpetuity.

Now, thanks to Trump appointing better justices, the dominoes are being stood back up.  SCOTUS stands up a domino (Bruen) and all the dominoes that fell before it are being stood back up in succession.

The Dumbs, I mean Dems are absolutely terrified of Trump.  It's been almost 3 years and they are still afraid of his influence on the American public and the possibility of a comeback.  The sheer mention of his name makes them shiite their pants.

Std cap mags in Hawaii would be glorious.  Next I would love to see is ban/restriction on suppressors lifted.  Too many liberals thinking that makes the guns SILENT.  Like ninja  ;D

1 lawsuit at a time. Mags more important than suppressors.

I disagree. I would much rather have suppressors legal to own in Hawaii, than have over ten round handgun mags.
