It's not Tom Cruise.  and that's good bc I hate Tom Cruise.
the Amazon series is pretty good.  decent action, some witty one liners.  has some gun stuff in there, but overall is pretty entertaining.

I binge-watched it over a couple of days.  I'd recommend it.

I do think the finale was a bit too abrupt -- could have tied things up a little better story-wise.

The flashbacks of Reacher's childhood were good backstory, but they never really went into why Reacher hadn't kept in touch with his brother for years.  You're kind of left to fill in between the lines yourself.

Also, if you look at Reacher as a child, you have to wonder how the heck he became the Jolly Green Giant!  Chemical enhancement?  Lots of raw eggs while using sides of frozen beef as punching bags?  Hmm...

 

I read all the books. Well, maybe 95% of them. There were a few novellas I might have missed.

The TV series is a great adaptation.

I hope more seasons will be produced.

Having Tom Cruise play the movie version was like getting The Rock to play Yoda.

For you guys here, if you have not read them, I suggest starting with PERSUADER.

You will understand why I suggested it after reading. Then you can go back to the first book (which is actually this TV series Season 1).
