Christopher Dorner was one man.  It took thousands of people to finally catch - corner - and kill him.  What would LAPD do if there was 10 christopher dorners at one time?  And this is small scale. Double that number or triple it.  Military here has to go home to their families.  Cops have to go home to their families.  Paul Howe has a great article on this.

Ok, maybe I need a little help understanding a couple of statements like this, but from my understanding the Army, Marine Corps, and Navy do not fall under DHS.  Only military entity that falls under DHS is the Coast Guard.  So, is there now a general assumption that the military is going to come after you?  Is there a worry that if legislation passes a law with some sort of consfiscation that the military is going to enforce it?  I would like to speculate that at a minimum half of the active duty military that serve have a WORKING moral compass.  Theoretically, in my opinion, if a order ever came out to shoot and kill civilians for whatever reason, there would be a huge divide within the ranks of every chain of command.
