I have the square deal too but haven t set it up yet. Doesn't the spent primer catch bin catch all the spent primer crude in the square deal B? or does the loose crude fly around in the air?
================
It is an open cup. The primers don't always get in the cup. The plastic part cracks after a while, then you gotta get a new part.
But I still love that machine.  :thumbsup:

I have a small 1 BR apartment here in town. My reloading "bench" is actually a small shelf mounted directly to the concrete wall using wedge anchors. I did have it on a small table, but pressing rifle brass caused it to move around way too much. There is a metal cabinet under the shelf, where I store my reloading supplies. I also weigh my charges on this cabinet, so the whole operation take up five or six square feet, tops. I have the press at about abdominal height, so I either stand or use a tall barstool when reloading. I'll take a pic if you're interested, but the bottom line is that everything can be done even with a minimal amount of space.

You might also invest in a good quality, strong current HEPA air filter to clean the airborne particles (and dust) before you breath them in or they land on the floor or furniture.

good tip, thanks

I think the bad things to deal with is the amonia on the cleaning media and whatever you use for case lube.  This is the respiratory part.

The other bad stuff is potential cross contamination from the lead and the chemicals in the primers.

Ideally you don't want this stuff where you sleep or eat.

Shit.. then I better take that box of .22lr out of my pillow!
Keep putting there in hopes that the ammo fairy would exchange it for 5.56 .  :crazy:
