This will be a fun way to break in my new AR once the barrel gets back from Noveske...  :geekdanc:

Also, do we print this out on standard 8.5x11 paper?

Might as well put Tom at the first place spot, and we'll all compete for second on down... ;)

If everything is good with work and the 'Boss' at home I'll be there on Sunday morning. ;D   I have some loads to test for my 6br, and I will also shoot the match at 50 yards.

pm me your # or give me a call, I can come out on sunday;  what are you shooting? If it's a rifle, what caliber? I don't have a rifle yet, so I could pick up some ammo though!

Teichi what problems were you having? Was it that your image was too big?

It took me about 7 tries to upload the jpg. The page would freeze up.

These were shot last weekend. I used a vintage m1 carbine off a front rest consisting of a rolled up rifle bag, PMC .30 carbine ammo, at 50yards.

First target I shot slow, one shot at a time, spotting each shot. It took a few to get windage and elevation into the center. The sights are not very adjustable so I had to figue some holdoff, but after that I got a nice cluster in the ten ring. However, I miss counted my shots so this target is no good and can not be counted. The worst part is the last shot, the one I didn't need to take, was the worst of them all!  >:( haha

This one is the next one I shot. I did not spot this one at all for the ten rounds.

So, I'll have a 79. Unless I can get out and try again!  ;D

Anyone else try this match out??  Submit before the end of the month! :shaka:

Nice work, Heavies!  That grouping in the first target is pretty impressive.

Thanks Tom.
I was really suprized myself.  The carbine is from 1944, the stock is cracked a little, the sights are 1 moa windage, and marked for 100, 200, 250, and 300 yards.  Took a little tweaking to get it where I wanted.  ;D

Dude, getting hits like that from a WWII battle rifle it phenomenal!  Whether or not you win the competition, that's minute-of-bad-guy accuracy in both targets.  THIS is why I love those old weapons... they do what they were built to do!
