movies on basic cable that you have to watch, no matter how many times (Read 21446 times)

macsak

you've seen it, whether or not you own the DVD, despite all the commercials

for me, #1 is A Few Good Men
#2 is Predator
#3 is Trading Places
#4 is Coming to America
#5 gets more difficult for me, i'll pass until some others pipe in (probably would be one of the Rocky movies or Rambo, First Blood, Part dos)

BTW, you can probably guess what generation everyone is in by their lists

dirty dozen is a good one too

grease i can turn off most times, unless it is near the end and ON-J is going to be in the leather outfit

Yeah, "Grease" just got kicked off the list as I remembered one of my favorites "Conan".

I got lucky and DVR'd Seven Samurai one time. Watched it with the little guy with a lot of explanations from me about what is happening in the movie.

Dirty Dozen is fun for its interesting cast of characters.

I would watch all of the previously mentioned movies on cable if it were not for the long commercial breaks. I usually fall asleep during the commercials.
Then I get the urge to see what I missed and have to hit netflix.
